Surgical Department

Elena V. SOLOVYOVA, MD. Head of the surgical department:

- Our specialization – diseases that are subject to open treatment. Determine the feasibility of surgical intervention, perform various surgical manipulations: wound treatment, suturing and removal of sutures, autopsy of abscess and furuncles, and so on, control patients in the post-surgery period – those are the tasks  that we solve day after day.

Several specialized offices have also been created in the department, providing unique and very popular services for Medincenter patients. So, in the office of ophthalmology you can undergo a full diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. The equipment allows you to conduct the most modern and high-quality studies here, including optical coherent tomography of the retina and optic nerve (OCT), keratopachimetry, autoreferatometry, contactless tonometry, Humphrey and HEP perimetry, ultrasound, A and B scanning eyeballs, optical biometry.

A special pride of the department is the office of traumatology and orthopedics. Here, very complex surgical techniques of percutaneous (microinvasive) reconstruction of foot deformities are successfully used. Interventions are performed through small incisions, skin punctures and soft tissues.
