Get a seasonal flu vaccine at Medincentre

In autumn and winter, influenza and acute respiratory infections (ARI) rates increase sharply. Medincentre (affiliate of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia) recommends getting vaccinated before the influenza outbreak. The clinic offers INFLUVAC, a third-generation inactivated vaccine. The subunit vaccine consisting of surface proteins (antigens) rarely causes adverse reactions. INFLUVAC is the most effective and safe influenza vaccine available today.

Influenza and ARI are the most common infectious diseases in the world. ARI is generally a mild disease, whereas flu can weaken the immune system and provoke acute pneumonia, accompanied by pulmonary edema, otitis causing hearing loss, viral encephalitis, meningitis, etc. The preventive vaccination protects against influenza strains and ARI for 6-12 months. The vaccination is recommended for children over 6 months old, schoolchildren and students, people over 65 years old and adults with chronic diseases or weakened immune system.

Visit a doctor to get the vaccine. You can get vaccinated at the Medincentre during business hours: 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. All patients should be screened for contraindications prior to administering the vaccine.

If you apply to Medincentre for the first time or have not applied for more than 12 months, you will need to sign a service agreement, which requires a passport and/or birth certificate of the child. No additional approval of the insurance company is required for holders of VSK health insurance policies.
