As part of Africa Health ExCon 2023, a medicine and pharmaceuticals exhibition held in Cairo (Arab Republic of Egypt) from June 6 to 9 under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, a meeting between the co-exhibitors of the Moscow Government exposition and Dr. Amir M. Eltelwany, the Executive Director of the Egyptian General Authority of Healthcare, took place.
The meeting organized by the Department for External Economic and International Relations of Moscow and the Russian Trade Mission in the Arab Republic of Egypt was attended by representatives of Medincentre (a branch of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia) and Strogino and Slava technoparks.
Amir M. Eltelwany introduced the participants to the work that had been carried out by the Egyptian General Authority of Healthcare to modernize the healthcare industry in the country and to the efforts to digitalize Egyptian clinics and further plans to develop medical support system.
Irina Maslova (Deputy Director of the Press Service and Information Department of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia) spoke about the peculiarities of providing medical care at the clinic, which was founded 75 years ago to serve the needs of foreign diplomats and other representatives of the foreign community in Moscow. In addition, the participants have discussed the prospects for a more detailed study of the Egyptian healthcare system, reciprocal visits and visits to a number of the most technologically advanced Egyptian clinics by Medincentre representatives.
At the end of the meeting, the Moscow delegation members thanked the representatives of the Egyptian General Authority of Healthcare for the warm reception, expressing hope for further cooperation and fruitful healthcare cooperation.
