MRI at Medincentre

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a highly accurate and safe diagnostic method that allows doctors to examine internal organs, tissues, and systems without the use of X-rays. The procedure relies on magnetic fields and radio waves, making it safe and versatile for most patients.

At Medincentre, we use the Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MRI scanner, offering both precision and comfort. The wide 70 cm tunnel and 250 kg weight limit provide high-quality imaging even in complex cases.

Standardized Procedure

  1. Preparation. Before the examination, the technician explains the procedure to the patient and answers any questions. It is extremely important to remove all metal objects and jewelry.

  2. Examination. The patient lies down on the MRI table, which slowly moves inside the scanner. The procedure lasts from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area being examined. During the scan, the patient must remain still to obtain clear images.

  3. Results. After the procedure, the doctor analyzes the images and provides a report. The results can then be used to establish a diagnosis and determine the treatment plan.
