Medincentre of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia is one of the country's leading multidisciplinary clinics. The medical base of GlavUpDK was created by generations of the country's medical professionals and was initially focused on serving employees of the diplomatic corps and their families.

Medincentre is a unique medical institution established in 1948 to serve the diplomatic corps. Throughout its existence, we have adhered to the traditions laid down from the very beginning: highly qualified specialists, modern technologies, constant development and improvement.

On March 6, 1948, the Council of Ministers of the USSR decided to establish a Special Polyclinic on the basis of UpDK to serve the diplomatic corps.
The Moscow City Council provided a mansion where a new treatment and prophylactic complex was opened, which became one of the best medical centers in Moscow.
Just a year later, it was at Medincentre that participants of the VI World Festival of Youth and Students received help and support.
Embassies
On the territory of the S.P. Botkin Hospital, Building No. 5 was put into operation - a multidisciplinary hospital for the treatment of employees of the diplomatic corps - the inpatient department of Medincentre.
Medincentre provided medical support to representatives of participating countries during the XXII Olympic Games in Moscow.
A new building was constructed in the very center of Moscow, equipped with the latest equipment, in particular, advanced simulators for rehabilitation medicine.
During this period, medical and nursing conferences were often held.
During this period, the own Russian-Swiss laboratory of the company "Unimed Laboratories" was opened.
The creation of the "Academic Council of Medincentre GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia" is a vivid example of the rapid integration of the latest scientific developments into practical healthcare.
The Council included authoritative scientists: Academicians Leo Bockeria, Viktor Tutelyan, Ivan Dedov, Vadim Zilov, and others. The Academic Council was headed by the outstanding academician, surgeon-pulmonologist Mikhail Perelman.
During the Council's work, 5 collections of scientific papers were published.
