Diagnosis of kidney diseases
- Instrumental diagnostics: renal ultrasound, duplex scanning (USDG) of the renal vessels, CT scan of the urinary tract with or without contrast, and renal MRI in special cases.
- Laboratory tests: complete urinalysis, daily proteinuria, microalbuminuria, albumin-to-creatinine ratio, lipid profile, iron metabolism, complete blood count, biochemistry (creatinine, urea, uric acid, potassium, phosphorus, calcium), parathyroid hormone.
